Resumen: A designer, especially and industrial designer, will geenrally spend a significant amount of time communicating his or her ideas. At vaious moments in the design process a presentation of some kind will be necessary. For instance, an early progress report, a presentation to support the decisión-making process for choosing from suggested concepts, a fundraising campaign, a presentation to inform engineering, the final presentation of the outcome or transfer of a Project, etc. Depending on the progress of the design, the message will be different each time and a specific kind of communication or presentation will be required. In addiction, the audience of a presentation (design chief, client, stakeholder, etc.) may require a specific approach regarding the manner in which the design is visually communicated to them.
This book discusses several influential visual perception and visual language theories that can be of healp in creating visual presentations throughout the product design process.
